but rather unraveling from the generational patterns, traumas, & societal standards that have embedded into the make up of who you are today.

I’ve experienced a few of these moments in the last couple years and guided handfuls of women in navigating their own unbecomings.

the biggest piece of advice I can give you:
lean the f*ck in.

there’s sooo much power with choice.

in saying “I choose to be here. listen & face this head on.”

it’ll break you free from the sh*t holding you hostage to your own life and give you space to find yourself again.

maybe not the same version of you, you thought you were looking for but the one who knows with more clarity than ever before that who she is, as she is, is enough.

so listen to the beckoning you have inside,
to set fire to everything you have ever known.

let the it come as it was meant to.

all at once.
in that instantaneously,
almost missed,
blink of an eye sort of way.
like a spark catching gasoline.

in due course.
slowly & methodically
detailed out
like the meticulous tap tap taping of rough block sculpted into majestic art.

breath into this moment sweet soul,
as you embrace the devastation.

soften your shoulders,
& welcome it in with open arms.

rest your eyes
give way to the scorched falsehoods
